While me and my friend were driving around, we decided that we would go for a hike in the woods. We walked down many paths and ended up here. We thought it was beautiful, and as we looked more closely we were terrified. If you can see where the trees are on the ground, you'll see a blanket in there. The way it was positioned made it look like there was someone under it. (It's also known that there's been a man living in these woods for year) We also found other belongings in this area. We were to scared to get any closer. But I actually like this shot in how the trees sort of border the scenery.
Edit 4/13: Wasn't showing up so I had to resubmit it.
i agree, the way the trees frame the landscape is just beautiful...and the colors and tone make it look like a painted landscape. it's gorgeous, you should be really proud.
This is beautiful, it's kind of like what I always imagined stepping into the land of Narnia would look like.
Creepy about the belongings, there was a place like this back home, where my friends and I would always find children's blankets... very odd.
The trees certainly add to the fantastical feeling of this piece, I think it would look great on the cover of a book, or hanging up super big on a wall.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P

a few slight suggestions. you should crop out most of the darkness at the bottom, and perhaps do an angled crop to level off the horizon a bit.
besides that, amazing picture. i love how the trees act as a natural frame. great job
